Summary

The William Corcoran House was located diagonally across from Decatur House and was built in 1828. It was remodeled in 1849 by James Renwick and razed in 1929 for the construction of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. (Source: researcher S. Moskey and Capital Losses, James Goode, pp. 64-67)
