Summary
Significance: Originally the horse barn (ca. 1914) for Brookrace Estate, this barn was adaptively reused for dormitory space, recreation, publication work and film making by the Boy Scouts of America under the leadership of William Hillcourt. It originally had stables on the ground floor and employee residential space on the upper floor. It was enlarged at the west end, probably during the estate era.
