Summary
Significance: The Spanish Colonial Revival style maintenance shop originally housed vehicles for repair, and is characteristic of Caltrans maintenance station design. The maintenance shop is one of three buildings at the District 11 maintenance station in Old Town San Diego. There are four other maintenance stations in the state that were built in the Spanish Colonial Revival style in response to local climate and architectural styles.
