Summary
Significance: This building represents a classic Moderne type of the 1920s and 1930s. A central tower is presented as an attenuated vertical block where the scale is deceptively presented so that one is not aware of its actual height. The tower is held in place by two-story wings to each side; zigzag (Art Deco) relief ornament.
