A humorous sign about patternmakers in the Technocraft shop.

A humorous sign about patternmakers in the Technocraft shop.

description

Summary

Forms part of a group of images documenting scenes at Technocraft, a pattern-making firm in Bloomfield, NJ, August 11, 1994.
It reads: "I have a problem. I have two brothers. One is a Pattern Maker. The other brother was sentenced to death in the electric chair for murdering a dozen nuns with a machete. My mother died from insanity when I was three years old. My two sisters are prostitutes and my father sells crack cocaine to young kids out of his ice cream truck. Recently I met a girl who was just released from a reformatory where she served time for smothering her illegitimate child to death. I want to marry her. My problem is this: if I marry this girl should I tell her about my brother the Pattern Maker?"
