Black sheep of the Balkans. This is the mascot of the American Red Cross Unit at Tirana, Albania, where a hospital dispensary and childrens school have been established. Black sheep are the most valuable livestock in the Balkans. Their wool is spun and woven into garments without dyeing, thereby eliminating an expensive process in the Balkans.
