Summary
Significance: Cleremont was one of the more northerly Italianate farmhouses commissioned by the gentlemen agricultural reformers of mid 19th-century New Castle County. The house with its fine exterior detailing, stone bank barn, and landscaped grounds represents the floresence of Victorian design.
