Conversion. Merry-go-round plant. These are shell ejectors for naval guns, a far cry from the peacetime product of the plant where they were turned out. This plant in New York state formerly made merry-go-rounds and other thrill rides, today it aids in the war effort, protecting the right of Americans to enjoy the thrill rides it formerly turned out.
