Woodcut. (medium)
It appears to have been lined with a heavier paper, perhaps before its acquisition, as there is a pencilled notation top center of verso: "Clark's Dec 1937." It has been trimmed unevenly very close to the edges of the image, leaving no margins. There is a deep horizontal crease or tear in the center through the entire length of the image, but it is mended and is supported with a paper lining on the verso. A smaller horizontal tear, also mended, is at the lower left. Lower left corner creased; lower right corner stained. (condition)
