Mark Additional: Mark on all sections, mark on head and barrel is faint and mostly illegible.
Condition: Head joint barrel cracked, head joint center ferrules cracked. Ivory ferrule at foot broken in 3 pieces.
Provenance: Sigmund Koch, Munich, 27 Aug. 1930. Formerly in the collection of Theo. Schäffer.

Miller collection in the Library of Congress, contains nearly 1,700 flutes and other wind instruments, statuary, iconography, books, music, trade catalogs, tutors, patents, and other materials mostly related to the flute. Items in the collection date from the 16th to the 20th century.
