Summary
Significance: The Nurses Quarters was built as part of the Station Hospital addition of 1943. It signifies the expansion of the Fort McPherson Station Hospital during World War II and the role of 800-series hospital construction in mobilization. The building housed thirty-six nurses who worked at the hospital. It was originally connected to a second nurses quarters and a mess hall, all located at the southeastern end of the Station Hospital complex.
