The Bemis family owned or leased the property until 1952, when Edwin Bemis (son of Fred Bemis) sold the property to the Intermountain Rural Electric Cooperative. The house was moved to its present location at the Littleton Historical Museum on February 21, 1975, when the co-op expanded its facilities on the property where the house once stood...
