Garden Theater, 10-12-14 West North Avenue, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA
Summary
Significance: As "movies" lost their novelty and became a major entertainment form, picture theatres became more substantial and dignified than the earlier Nickelodeons. The Garden Theatre is a typical little-changed neighborhood movie house of this century's second decade.
