Summary
Significance: The Laundry Building (Building 8) was one of the original buildings of the facility, along with the East Cottage, Heating Plant, and Administration Building. A 3200-square-foot addition was made by the Glen Lake maintenance department at some point before 1958. By the late 1950s an average of 15,000 pounds of laundry were processed by the laundry department every week.
