Summary
Significance: The bridge is representative of the rivet-connected Pratt pony truss and is the only such bridge recorded in Gordon County. Based on the context of the Georgia Historic Bridge Survey (GHBS), the structure fits into the era of "historic" bridge building in Georgia and is a good example of the kind of smaller metal-truss bridges built in the northern part of the state during the historic period.
