description

Summary

Significance: The stone residence was built during the five years before 1920, for operators and draymen of the freighting net, by John "Don" Lorenzo Hubbell. Trading operations required the movement of goods and merchandise to the various trading posts from the wholesale market and the added shipments to the buyers. A four-truck garage extended to the east from the stone residence up to 1931 when it burned and was removed.
