J. H. C. Mann Bridge, Spanning Maury River on State Route 631, East Lexington, Rockbridge County, Virginia
Summary
Significance: The J.H.C. Mann Bridge was a pin-connected, Pratt camelback-truss that had a relatively long span for its date of construction (180'). As of 1974, it was the second longest truss span in this part of the state. The bridge was impressively sited high above the water on coursed masonry abutments.
