The text conveys the pre-revolutionary altercation in the city of Puebla, describing the exchange of fire between the anti re-electionist Aquiles Cerdán [i.e. Serdán] and his family with local officials--including the police and local army--on November 18, 1910. The fighting lasted three hours and the casualties consisted of close to a hundred dead and wounded. Among the dead was Police Chief Miguel Cabrera.
