No midget lap-sitting for Speaker Bankhead. Washington, D.C., April 30. "Lap-sitting is out" Speaker Bankhead today as he greeted a troupe of circus midgets from his home state of Alabama at the Capitol. An enterprising photographer sought to repeat the J.P. Morgan act of a few years ago (?) the noted financier placed on the midgets on his lap at a Senate hearing. But it was no go today as the Speaker was concerned, 43037
