Summary
Significance: The O. Henry Hotel, built 191701919, was designed by W. L. Stoddart, a firm which was responsible for many of the south's better hotels. The hotel, a source of local pride, was constructed from funds raised by the citizens of Greensboro. The O. Henry remained of of the city's leading hotels from its opening to the early 1960s.
