Sailboat races get under way on Potomac. Washington, D.C., Sept. 18. As a prelude to the major boat races in President's Cup Regatta scheduled for next Saturday, The Comets, Snipes, Moths and other type windjammers sailed the breezy Potomac today to compete for the much-coveted cups.
