Summary
Significance: It is located within the Pearl Harbor National Historic Landmark. It was constructed in 1943 in association with the expansion of the Navy Shipyard during WWII. It is more notably grouped with galley Facility No. 388 and its former adjacent mess hall, Facility 388A, as well as Dry Dock No. 4 (Facility No. S782), which were all built 1941-1944. This two-story latrine building is of a distinctive type and period of construction. It continues to serve as a toilet facility for the personnel working at Dry Dock No. 4.
