Woodruff Building, 500 Worthington Avenue, Wyoming, Hamilton County, OH
Summary
Significance: Good example of typical Victorian commercial architecture. Building was part of the nucleus of the City's initial commercial area, and was built adjacent to the Cincinnati, Hamilton, and Dayton Railroad, which served as the city's main transportation artery in the second half of the 19th century. The building was developed and owned by Charles S. Woodruff, a prominent entrepreneur and generous civic leader.
