Summary
Significance: Architectural - The Arkwright House is a good example of the English Tudor Eclectic style built on a grand scale. Historical - The house was built by Preston S. Arkwright, a prominent Atlanta civic and business leader. Arkwright was president of the Georgia Power Company during its infancy. Arkwright used this house as his residence until his death in 1946.
