Briggs, European Manager of RCA Communications, Inc., protested that passage of the Wheeler bill to require competition between American radio communications organizations for foreign contracts would "cripple" radio communications. Forced competition, Briggs said, would benefit the foreigner and Brigg no advantages to the American user, 5/10/38
