Cotton stockings. Ann Sheridan wears a gabardine suit, skin tone hose with a clock design worked in at the ankle. This photograph demonstrates to some extent, the elasticity and sheerness of the new types of cotton stockings. The cotton hose now being made have more "give" and "twist" than the old type of cotton yarn
