Displays battle scarred old flag. When the Union forces made their triumphal entry into Washington at the close of the Civil War 65 years ago, Orlando Learned could not come because of a battle wound. But at last the Union veteran has been able to make a trip to the Capital, bringing with him his cherished 36-starred Union flag, which he obtained during a celebration of the fall of Vicksburg and later carried in into battle with him.
