Summary
Significance: Recreational boating increased in popularity at the turn of the century and a variety of rowing boat designs were adapted to this service. This yawl was likely used by summer vacationers in Michigan. The plank on ribs construction is typical. Of note is the tight "wine glass" style transom and shallow keel.
