description

Summary

Significance: This small wood-frame building sits on the southwest side of the old barn and about 12 feet beyond it. It is divided into three rooms and each has an exterior door. One room is probably for feed storage and the other two for the chickens to live in. The building size is approximately 11 feet by 27 feet. A nearly flat shed roof was constructed with a minimum of slope. The finish is rolled mineral roofing. On three sides, the finish is horizontal drop siding painted green. On the fourth side, the finish is in part the same siding but mainly there are plywood sheets used as a wainscot with screen wire above.
