Howard Road Historic District, Thomas Sparks House, 1003 Howard Road, Washington, District of Columbia, DC
Summary
Significance: This is one of two I-house forms in the Howard Road Historic District, both of which appear to predate the period of Barry's Farm lot subdivision that began toward the end of the 19th century. It may have been built during the ownership of Thomas Sparks, before the lot passed to Sylvia Phillips around 1885.
