Summary

Print shows a bust portrait of Louis XVI atop a pedestal with engraved text "A Louis XVI Pere des Français et Roi d'un peuple libre." A reclining female figure, aided by Father Time, is engraving text on plaque near the top of the pedestal, "Espoir de l'age d'or..." To the left of the statue is a shovel, wheat, a beehive, and a small tree; in the background is the Bastille.
