The family bible record said he has just reached 11 years (born April 5, 1901) so he was working at 10 years old. Father a carpenter. 13 year old sister spins. Right hand boy is Milton Homicutt [i.e., Honicutt?] been working one month. Belton Mfg. Co. 40 cents a day. Family bible record said born April 9, 1900 but it was plainly erased and changed from 1901 so he has just reached 11 years. The larger boy has been doffing two years there.
