Summary
Significance: The Mianus River pumping station provided a source of filtered boiler feedwater to the Cos Cob generating plant. Three diesel engine powered pumps forced water through a 16" main which paralleled the Mianus River. The main discharged into two 600,000 gallon tanks adjacent to the power plant.
