Oldman Boiler Works, Office/Machine Shop, 32 Illinois Street, Buffalo, Erie County, NY
Summary
Significance: The building contains a number of early to mid-20th Century metal-cutting machine tools. This equipment was used in conjunction with Oldman Boiler Works' business of repairing steam generators as well as for manufacturing the firm's patented fairlead that was used on many Great Lake vessels. While the office section has been altered extensively, the tool room retains much of its original integrity.
