Summary

Significance: The original house dates to around 1725, and it was expanded in the mid eighteenth century into the five-bay, gambrel roofed frame building that was home to Ebenezer Flagg. The chimney and staircase with its flat, S-shaped balusters are remnants of the early building.

In 1765, the house was sold to Robert Lillibridge who used it as a coffeehouse and tavern.
