Krug, Chief Power Planning Engineer of the TVA, testifying before the Committee Investigating TVA, asserted that within eight y ears, either TVA or private utilities will have to expand power facilities in order to meet power demands in the 40,000 square mile area, and that practical and legal price settlements plans are under way for acquisition of integrated systems in the Tennessee Valley
