Summary
Significance: Although much altered in this century, the Taylor Run-Yorty Run School House still serves as an example of the vernacular public architecture of the middle third of the nineteenth century. With belatedly added utilities, it also exhibits the modifications made to convert it to an increasingly comfortable residence.
