Wallrich Bridge, Spanning North Fork of Vermilion River at Township Highway 276 B, Cullom, Livingston County, IL
Summary
Significance: This three-span bridge, 172'-0" long, with a center bow span of 123'-0" is one of the few bridges of this type remaining in Illinois. Bowstring bridges were infrequently used on secondary roads before about 1870, preceding the near universal acceptance of rectangular metal truss designs.
