Bulgaria's largest hospital. When it becomes necessary to evacuate thousands of Russian refugees from Odessa and other Black Sea ports, the American Red Cross relief expedition sent many of them to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, where they were cared for in the state hospital, the largest in the country. Bulgaria was glad to have the Russians, whose country has done so much for them in the past centuries
