Decree in Batterton v. Batterton et al, [Law papers].
Summary
Appears to be in Lincoln's hand.
Summary: David Batterton died with a will that appointed his widow, Nancy Batterton, as executrix of his 160-acre estate. Nancy Batterton retained Logan and Lincoln and petitioned the court to allow her to sell enough of the land to pay the estate's debts. The court granted the petition, and ordered Nancy Batterton to sell the land at public auction.
