Summary
Print commemorates Francesco Pisauro, knight and procurator of St. Mark, who made the first public trial in Venice of an aerostatic sphere. The three etchings show an angel blowing a horn and holding a crowned plaque; two people in a balloon waving flags, surrounded by the motto "Probrosa extremum scabies adurat, MDCCLXXIV"; and a female figure holding a balloon and compass.
