Pommer-Gentner House, 108 Market Street, Hermann, Gasconade County, MO
Summary
Significance: The largest of Hermann's early houses, the Pommer-Gentner House is the only one of them to show the influence of a national style. The two-and-a-half story, brick house was built for Caroline Pommer in 1840-41. The Federal style design may have been brought from Philadelphia by Mrs. Pommer.
