Waiting in line is a pretty tedious performance if you happen to be at the end of the line, but when several hundred men have to be fed and there are only a very few minutes in which to feed them, the bread line, is the only possible method. The canteen workers have acquired an invaluable speed by long practice, however and the line moves swiftly and steadily on until every man is fed
