description

Summary

Print shows Turks, represented by dogs, fleeing toward Constantinople after the Battle of Vienna, 1683. In the center, a large dog, representing the Sultan, is being beaten by two European officers(?). Overhead, a black bird, probably the Polish eagle, flies toward Vienna with a crescent in it's beak. Text under image, in German and French, is verse mocking the Sultan.
