Nash, member of the Independent Gas Workers' Union, organized at the Brooklyn Union Gas Co. in New York, described today to the Senate Education and Labor Committee the attempts of his organization to obtain certification from the NLRB, although a petition for certification was filed over a year ago. The board's refusal to grant the petition, he said, could be blamed upon its 'pro- C.I.O. bias.'
