Summary
Significance: The Langdale Cotton Mill is part of the Langdale Historic District. According to the National Register nomination, the mill consists of an "excellent group of mill buildings from the late-nineteeth to early twentieth centuries." Langdale Cotton Mill's hydroelectric power plant was put into operation in 1908 to power the mill.
