Print shows a large shamrock formed from stars with a harp at center and bust portraits of Michael O' Brien, William P. Allen and Michael Larkin, who were executed by hanging for the murder of a policeman in Manchester, England.

Printed on the bottom left and right: Be it on the Scoffold high, / Or in the battle's van, / The noblest place for man to die, / Is where he dies for man. Smith O' Brien.
