Summary

Birds-eye view engraving shows cavalry troops on a hill overlooking a field with locations of troops and activities that happened during the siege of Landau from September until November 1704. Dates are labeled across the field designating progress of the siege and battle. at the top is a partial view of the fortress at Landau in Germany. Includes cartographic detials with the Queich River, canals and directions to Insheim, Impflingen and other locations. Smaller print describes the activities and provides key to generals and military leaders identified in the print as taking part in the battle.
