description

Summary

Broadside, on recto, has an image of a mother kneeling with a dog at her side which she appears to be keeping from her child as he plays on the floor. The text, in verse, pays homage to the love and tenderness given by a mother to her children. There is a second poem on the verso titled "Double step" that also praises mothers.
