Summary
Print shows birds eye view of Freising in Bavaria in August 1632 in flames in the valley below. Troops are fleeing the city but other troops are in battle formation on the edge of the valey. Additional troops depicted on horseback are charging toward the city from the hills above in the foreground. The cities and towns of Nyrmberg [Nuremberg], Vischpach [Fischbach] and Mÿndelheim [Mindelheim] are also depicted in the background. The town of Freising had paid a ransom to Swedish King Gustavus Adolphus and his troops but was nevertheless pillaged.
